What This Manual Contains

PERFORMANCE CORRECTION – Outlines the performance correction process and examines the need for informal, regular feedback when discipline may not necessarily be timely or appropriate.

CORRECTIVE and PROGRESSIVE DISCIPLINARY PROCESS – Outlines the purpose behind the process and when formal, corrective discipline may be appropriate. It summarizes the concept and “ladder” of progressive discipline. This section ends with characteristics of effective corrective discipline and should be considered a summary.
